Breezy Ann Photography was born out of a passion for being present and witnessing the beauty that is already always present in your life. Love, family and babies are at the center of everything we do here. Let me show you what I see when I look at you through my lens. I promise, it’ll take your breath away!
My name is Anna. I am a mother of 2 with an expertise in photography, film production, set design, lighting, cinematography, editing, graphic design and all things CREATIVITY! I have been photographing maternity, birth, newborns, toddlers, families, weddings and events since 2014.
From a young age, I’ve worked with and cared for infants and children. This theme has carried on throughout my life. I understand that the safety of your newborn is of the utmost importance. I have worked with hundreds of families and have volunteered with organizations like NILMDTS (Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep): an organization of photographers who capture moments post-delivery of stillborn babies with their families, equipping me for all kinds of energies my families are showing up with. I also have 4 years of experience as a competitive body builder, and the years of stage posing have taught me how to pose bodies to look their best! Me and my skilled editors know how to take care of the rest!
I started my journey in the arts in middle school: studying video production through to high school and eventually moving to Los Angeles in 2005 for film school. I discovered my passion for photography when my baby girl was born in 2012. I continued my education with photography courses, workshops, mentorships, seminars, and classes focusing on equipment, composition, style, and of course, retouching photos using the latest and greatest software available. Over the years, my portfolio and expertise has grown. Additionally, my family has grown. We welcomed our son into our lives in 2014 and with him, came even more inspiration. With one child on the Autism Spectrum and the other diagnosed with ADD, motherhood has taught me immense patience, understanding, and compassion which influence my work in so many ways. I create and customize new, entertaining, age-appropriate photo sessions that everyone can enjoy. I am incredibly fun and patient with children, and even more patient with their parents (wink, wink)!
Above all, I want to create an experience that is comfortable, fun, playful, and empowering: whether we are posing your newborn, wrangling your 1-year-old (and their siblings), or focusing on bringing out the goddess in you! You will feel seen, supported, and magnificent … and the photos we create together will reflect this. Do you or your partner have photo-shoot cold feet? Not to worry! The session will feel lighthearted, and easy-Breezy!
Business aside, I am a woman who understands, first-hand, what the transition into motherhood feels like. I know the deeply emotional and often challenging experience of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care. In the midst of all the changes, it is easy to feel the heaviness of a changing body, and lose sight of one’s inherent beauty, wholeness, and worthiness. I am here to remind you of that. To reflect to you how glorious you are: now and always!
